Merlibeach becomes the best Beach Restaurant in Abruzzo

The recognition“Ca’ Maiol Award – Best Beach Restaurant Abruzzo 2024”It comes from the editors of the “Guide to the Best Beach Clubs in Italy” by Andrea Guolo and Tiziana Di Masi, published by Morellini Editore, already available in bookshops since May 3rd.

We had almost lost hope of finding a beach club in Alba Adriatica that lived up to our expectations, when MerliBeach appeared before us on the beach.
And it was a genuine revelation in many aspects, from the design to the service, from the quality of the food to the attention to detail.
A structure therefore above the average for this locality, which has remained anchored to tourism of the past and where investments have evidently not taken off.
MerliBeach, however, made bold choices ahead of its time. In 2014, the year the old Fiko d'India was transformed with a contemporary feel, including a project entrusted to an architectural firm from Teramo, this qualitative leap was neither understood nor rewarded. Today, however, the situation is entirely different, and from our very personal point of view, we can consider MerliBeach one of the leading establishments on the northern Abruzzo coast.
The quality of the interior and exterior design is particularly evident in the street-level entrance area, but further confirmation can be found in the dining room (don't miss the squid ink tortelloni filled with salmon) and at the dramatic bar counter where an excellent bartender looks after customers ready for their pre-dinner drinks.
