The Blue Flag is an important banner awarded to seaside tourist destinations that meet various criteria related to the sustainability of the territory.
Conferred by Foundation for Environmental Education The Blue Flag certifies high standards of bathing water quality and services.
In fact, the criteria assessed concern the following areas:

Environmental management

The purpose of the Blue Flag
The main objective of the Blue Flag programme is to direct local management policy towards a process of environmental sustainability.
